Harvesting Calm: A Provider Connection & Sound Sanctuary

Harvesting Calm is a healing experience led by Dr. Sun (Maime) Butler, DLLP (they/them), on November 6, 2026, from 6:30 – 9:00 PM in Grand Rapids, MI.

As therapists and wellness providers, you spend your days holding space for everyone else. Between seasonal transitions, busy caseloads, and heavy news cycles, finding space to center and nourish yourself is essential.

We invite you to step away from your role as the caretaker, reconnect with your peer community, and drop into an evening dedicated entirely to your rest and renewal. We’ll begin with comfort food and connection,  followed by a soothing somatic sound bath led by Dr. Sun Butler (they/them).

This immersive somatic sound experience is intentionally designed to honor Black + Brown bodies and address trauma and healing needs within our lived experience by drawing on cultural healing practices rooted in rhythm and collective care.

We recommend dressing comfortably, and bringing your personal yoga mat is required. Feel free to bring pillows, eye masks, and blankets to make your experience even more cozy and restful.
