Statement to Client
After 20 years in the business sector, I transitioned into counseling, driven by a long-standing passion for helping others that was shaped by early experiences of compassion and community service in my family. I work to empower clients through a collaborative, strengths-based approach, creating a warm and supportive environment where individuals feel heard and involved in their own growth. I integrate Person-Centered Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, CBT, and mindfulness techniques to address underlying concerns and serve a diverse population. I am a Limited Licensed Psychologist and Professional Counselor with degrees from Cornerstone University and Western Michigan University, and I currently work as an outpatient therapist at Pine Rest Grandville (Southwest) Clinic.
