Statement to Client
Life can be messy, unpredictable, wonderful, and fragile. It can also be overwhelming, so I value opportunities to slow down and listen to our bodies, emotions, and needs. Therapy is a space where you can do that - and not do it alone. We can explore all of your life's extremes and constants, as well as the potential extremes and constants of yourself. I’m here to offer an empathetic, non-judgmental, safe space for you to notice, explore, and dive into parts of yourself that may have been left unheard, stuck in the past, or difficult to face in the present.
Maybe you're feeling depressed or numb, overwhelmed by anxiety, grieving a loss, trapped in unhealthy cyclical patterns, struggling in relationships, or battling with the effects of traumatic experiences. If this resonates with you, please know that you are not alone.
I hope to work alongside of you as you connect with safety, engage with emotions, explore defenses, build authenticity, and cultivate hope - all the while we both affirm your inner strength, tenderness, and worth.
