Statement to Client
I am a licensed clinical social worker and a school social worker for over 25 years. I worked for 10 years as a per diem case manager with Pine Rest Christian Mental Health Services. I am trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing.
In October 2018, I opened my private practice, after missing the clinical aspect of helping individuals and families overcome anxiety, learning coping skills, and defeating depression. As a parent of a young adult with special needs, I know how challenging life can sometimes be. I believe that continuing to strive for positive outcomes throughout our lives, is the key to overall individual and family mental health wellness.
