Greetings! I am Crystal (she/her), I earned my master’s degree in social work from Grand Valley State University in 2020. I am a limited licensed social worker (LLMSW) and certified peer recovery mentor (CPRM) with the state of Michigan. I have experience working with women within a variety of settings including community based, behavioral health and residential substance use treatment settings.
My approach to therapy is person-centered and collaborative. I believe that you are the expert in your experiences. I have extensive training and expertise in a variety of evidenced-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy, Lies That Bind Cognitive Restructuring (LTB), Motivational Interviewing, Psychotherapy, Mindfulness based approaches and Trauma Informed practices.
My goal is to provide a safe, judgment -free space to cultivate a therapeutic relationship where you will feel heard, respected and supported.
