Message from clinician

Statement to Client
I am a trained Birth Doula who is all about holistic care and reproductive justice and can give you physical, emotional, and informational support during labor, birth, and the postpartum period.

My background as a pharmacist, reproductive health advocate, and Health Unit Coordinator at a labor and delivery hospital inspired me to pursue a career as a doula. I have seen firsthand the amazing impact of doula support on the well-being of birthing people and their babies. With experience on three continents and natively fluent in Swahili and Kikuyu, I bring cultural competence, patience, understanding, and emotional intelligence to my doula practice. Those who know me describe me as funny, bubbly, warm, and fun! In my free time, I enjoy bonding with my husband through travel, cuddling with my two cats (Venus and Serena), relaxing on my hammock, volunteering in the community, cooking, attending theater performances, going to the movies, listening to podcasts, and reading self-help books. I can't wait to meet you and support you on your birthing journey!
