Statement to Client
Hello! I'm glad you found your way here. Choosing to explore therapy is a meaningful act of courage, and I don't take lightly the trust it requires — especially when the mental health field has not always been a safe or affirming space for BIPOC folks and communities. Life carries weight that is both personal and collective. The challenges you face may be shaped by intergenerational trauma, racial stress and fatigue, cultural expectations, or the ongoing labor of navigating systems that were not built with you in mind. My goal is to offer a space that is genuinely safe, affirming, and free from judgment and where your full experience is welcomed, including the parts that have rarely been given room.

I deeply believe in the inherent strength within each of us, and I recognize that strength is often forged through circumstances that should never have been yours to carry alone. Together, we can honor your experiences and work toward reclaiming a sense of peace, balance, and empowerment — on your own terms. I bring a blend of heart and expertise. Rooted in a compassionate, client-centered framework, my approach draws on evidence-based practices tailored to your needs and goals, including advanced training in EMDR and Internal Family Systems (IFS), Trauma-Focused CBT, Mindfulness, Somatic therapy, and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT).

Healing often begins with feeling truly seen and heard — without having to explain or justify your reality. I especially welcome those navigating perinatal and maternal health, perimenopause, life transitions, and the aftermath of sexual trauma. I invite you to reach out. It would be a privilege to walk with you on this journey.
