Statement to Client
Greetings, I’m Anicia Battles, LMSW, a Michigan-based Licensed Master Social Worker dedicated to supporting women, families, and the healthy development of infants and young children. With a deep specialization in infant and early childhood mental health, I provide compassionate, evidence-based care for individuals navigating anxiety, depression, perinatal mood disorders, and the complex transitions of parenthood.

Throughout my career as a mental health therapist, I’ve worked with individuals from diverse backgrounds—helping them address relational challenges with partners, peers, and family members; navigate workplace stress; and manage patterns of anxious or negative thinking. I focus on strengthening reflective functioning, fostering self-awareness, and guiding clients toward lasting, positive change.

Rooted in a person-centered, strength-based approach, I create a safe and affirming space where clients feel seen, heard, and supported. My passion lies in empowering individuals and families to build resilience, deepen connections, and thrive across life’s stages.
