Statement to Client
We work with the strong friends who are everything to everybody but are quietly suffering and exhausted; rebellious teens who are bright, quiet or outspoken and also largely misunderstood; disillusioned parents and couples who are unhappy with the way things are but are committed to getting things back on track. You are welcome here.

We specialize in treating anxiety, depression, stress and trauma in BIPOC, Black and African American teens and adults. If you are considering the courageous next step toward a life of thriving, we'd be honored to partner with you on your journey.

Whether you are seeking to heal a relationship with a loved one or with yourself, need coping strategies, support or understanding, we can help. We endeavor to help you discover the person hiding beneath the protective layers life has demanded. Together, we will define meaning and purpose by exploring your personal values and connecting them with your actions.

We offer in person and video sessions for: perfectionism, depression, pregnancy/postpartum adjustment, anxiety, attachment related issues/relational wounds, bipolar disorder, couples counseling, trauma/PTSD, ADHD, stress and life transitions.

We are an eclectic, trauma-informed and inclusive practice with Prepare-Enrich, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Expressive Arts, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction, Brainspotting and Addictions trained therapists.

We believe that we all have our own answers. Our role is to help you discover those answers while providing support, encouragement and strategies that promote self-awareness, healing and change. It would be a great honor to hold space and share in your journey of self-exploration, restoration and realization and we look forward to hearing from you soon.

ACCEPTED INSURANCES: Blue Cross Blue Shield, Blue Care Network, Mclaren, Medicaid (Mclaren and Blue Cross Complete plans ONLY) and Aetna.

We do offer sliding scale rates.

We do not accept insurances that are not listed. Referrals will be provided.
